Today was the first of Justin's weekly Short Form Improv classes that are part of The People's Improv Theater's expanded Drop-in Class Program. Every night of the week there is a different class 7-10 on weekdays and 3-6pm on weekends. Justin's is every Sunday from 3pm-6pm at Simple Studios 134 West 29th Street, 2nd Floor. Just $20 cash gets you a 3 hour class in Short Form Improv!

Tonight is the season premiere MAD MEN on AMC. Check it out at 10pm tonight. And somewhere in the background with be a clean shaven Justin shaking his head. Just one part of his trip to LA he won last year with the You Could Be On Mad Men Contest.

This afternoon is the first performance of the play "Poke Until Wince" which is part of this year's New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). It's a dark comedy about "six relationships reach their tipping point." Here are the details. Performances are SAT 15 @ 3:30; MON 17 @ 6:45; WED 19 @ 5; THU 20 @ 6:30; FRI 21 @ 9:45; SAT 22 @ 2:15 and take place at Venue #15: The Studio @ Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce St, New York, NY(MAP). Tonight The People's Improv Theater presents Alex Zalben's Intro to Sketch Writing Class Show at 7pm. Justin and his classmates present examples of the what they learned in class read by professional sketch performers. Tickets are $5 at the door.

In 10 days, Justin and David Levin will be premiering their improvised show called "The Brothers Zell" at the Magnet Theater, 254 West 29th Street in New York City. Show time is 8pm on July 26th, 2009. Tickets are $5. Part improv and part sketch, Justin and David will become Francis and Mortimer Zell. Two brothers who made their mark on the world in the 1920s.

Justin has just been cast in a show that will be part of this year's New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). The play is called "Poke Until Wince." It's a dark comedy about "six relationships reach their tipping point" and is written and directed by Matthew Chesmore. Details about exact performance dates to come.

Justin just began a podcast with his friend and fellow improvisor, Elizabeth Quinn. It's called "Improvised New York." It's a weekly discussion of improv in New York City.

Justin will be in Los Angeles to shoot his walk-on role for AMC's MAD MEN. He won his role last September in the AMCtv.com's "YOU COULD BE ON MAD MEN" contest.

Justin will be in Chicago for the 12th Annual Chicago Improv Festival with THE WILHELM. Check them out on Friday, April 17th, The Playground Theater, 7pm.
