SUNDAY IMPROV CLASS
This ongoing (pay-as-you-go) class explores the pure fun that is Short Form Improv (a.k.a. Improv Games).
Whether you are an acting/improv veteran looking to enrich your improv knowledge or a beginner looking to test the waters, this is the class for you. Each class instructor Justin Zell teaches different short form improv games and treats everyone to a little friendly competition. Much like those on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," students will increase their spontaneity and earn points along the way.
Date and Time: THE 1ST and 3RD (and sometimes 5TH) SUNDAY of EVERY MONTH from 3PM-6PM
Location: SIMPLE STUDIOS, 134 WEST 29TH STREET, 2ND FLOOR
Cost: $20 per person per class (CASH ONLY).
Prerequisite: Improv Level 1 or equivalent experience

Limited to 16 participants. Class begins promptly. Please arrive early.

IMPROV COACHING/DIRECTING
Justin has been coaching improvisation since August 2008. He has coached both short-form and long-form improv groups. He has coached Chemistry Grad School, Blue Panto and Lumberjack Office.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater from SUNY New Paltz. He has studied improvisation and sketch comedy at The People Improv Theater, Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, and the Second City Training Center in NY. His instructors include: Ali Farahnakian, Ptolemy Slocum, Kevin Scott, Jay Rhoderick, Gary Austin, Matt Donnelly, Pat Shay, Denny Siegel and Billy Merritt. Performed improv at The PIT weekly with THE WILHELM for over a year. He studied coaching improv with Rebekka Johnson.
