THE BROTHERS ZELL

Picture
It's the "Roaring 20s" and Franny and Morty Zell, two of the biggest cheeses you never heard of, are on top of the world! They got their fingers in so many pies there ain't enough window sills on which to cool'em. But can the good times last forever? Ab-so-lute-ly, Doll; don't be a bug-eyed Betty.

In the Dark

An Improvised Film Noir

Picture
There's a silhouette from a streetlamp, an ethereal whistle in the alleyway, and a single thread of smoke rising from a cigarette-or a gun. This October, PIT house team The Wilhelm performs a fully improvised "film noir" on stage, one populated by femme fatales and hard-boiled private dicks. With an eye for detail and a flair for the dramatic, the men and women of The Wilhelm take you across the threshold of your world and into a dark realm of crime and seduction-without forgetting their sense of the absurd. Directed by Kevin Scott.

Justin Zell is a New York based actor and improv coach.
